Portrait Philippe Jacquot

Philippe Jacquot

Painter

Born in April 23, 1966 in the Marne in France. After passing through the decoration, it is in 1990 that he decided to devote himself to painting. His past experience enables it to control the glass painting on metal as well as bonded materials, giving him the opportunity to exit the conventional support of the canvas and paper.

Among the various themes he has treated, people and particularly women remain his favorite subject. In each painting, it looks aesthetics, lightness, softness and subtlety through the curve and work light. His technical mastery of painting, allows it to pass easily from a realistic style composed of successive glazes, another more abstract created by energetic brushstrokes of bright colors. This mixture may appear on the same canvas.

His constant search for new topics, atmospheres and original techniques, leads to create series of paintings that may have no link between them. He freely painted according to his mood and inspiration by mocking the conventions. He does not shut himself up in a so-called "style", opening leads to evolution. Some of his paintings are in private collections in France and abroad.

You can see the last twenty years in solo and group exhibitions in regional, national and international exhibitions such as the Salon des Independants and the Salon of French Artists in Paris, the Salon d'Automne of Luneville, lounge International Puy en Velay, the Artoulouse living in Toulouse, the V lounge Dormans, the ADAC salon Châtillon, the show "Gateway" art house of Châtillon, the Great Contemporary Art market of the Bastille in Paris.
